Guiding verse – 2 Corinthians 3:3
“You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”
About My Letter of Christ: This blog is a way for me to make known what the Spirit of the living God has written on my heart. Sometimes, I feel the urge to write something down in an essay format about the Lord. I publish it here.
About justachristian: I am a college-age male living in the United States. I am simply a Christian; I have the life of Christ dwelling in me. I started the blog because I want this life to dwell richly in me according to Colossians 3:16.
What it Means to be a Letter
We have all been pressed in deferent areas in this life; we all have a different impression from the Lord. If our heart to the Lord is soft enough, this pressing will result in an impression. After going through the fire, the impression holds its shape. This process of being pressed and impressed like clay is what gives shape to our letter, and the furnace of life makes it everlasting.
To be a “letter” of Christ means to communicate, with other letters, a meaningful testimony of who the Lord is, and what has been ministered to each one of us. This is how Ephesians 3:10 is fulfilled. Look at verse 11. This is our participation in God’s eternal purpose. What is your letter? have you made a contribution to eternity today? I encourage you to do so in the comment section! (Ephesians 4)
